Pictures of the pre-production prototype, before we named the amp: I am an 80's metal guy at heart, and have always been in awe of some of the guitar tones generated in this period. I set out to design an amp that would allow me to get tones that are reminiscent of 80's metal, but still be able to be used for a wide range of styles and playing environments. Not an easy task at all. By using a cathode biased power section, and hundreds of hours over several years of tweaking and refining, I feel we have achieved this goal. The 2nd pre-production amp:
